Undying Love

My name is Laura Heather. I live in California, but have a little piece of my heart in Northern Ireland (my birthplace), Scotland, Wales, Ohio, Argentina, Haiti and Israel. I take pleasure in the simple things, but am a thrill-seeker at heart. What is most important about me though is that I am a child of the living God, forgiven and accepted by His mercy and grace. There is a phrase I really love to describe my identity in Christ, and that is – careless in the care of God. You see, I have been set free from the cares of this world, because I live for Another.

Love is willing self-sacrifice for the good of another that does not require reciprocation or that the person being loved is deserving.
The Bible tells us Jesus died for us while we were still sinners. If He had waited till we were able to reciprocate there would be no hope for us.
We love because He first loved us.
1 John 4:19
So because of this I am called to serve, to wait, to give and to forgive and to do all these things again and again.
